Audere is a UK-based production company specialising in documentary for both film and television. With a particular focus on international co-productions, Audere develops powerful narratives that illuminate the relationship between art and politics while amplifying marginalized voices.

Alice Figes is an academic, journalist, writer, and filmmaker. She developed her first screenplay with DNA Films (known for Trainspotting and Ex Machina) and has directed and produced multiple fiction and non-fiction short films in London since 2018. Alice is currently completing her doctorate in sociology and philosophy at Cambridge University, where her research focuses on the relationship between spirituality and politics in social movements, with a particular emphasis on Latin American and Brazilian history. Her writing has been featured in the Financial Times, Open Democracy, and The New European.

Josh Tautz

Josh Tautz is label manager at Far Out Recordings, the London-based independent label that rediscovered José Mauro's music. Far Out specializes in both new and archival Brazilian music, working with artists including Marcos Valle, Azymuth, and Joyce Moreno. Josh has produced radio for NTS and Worldwide FM, and DJ’d at venues including Ronnie Scotts and the Jazz Cafe. Josh also has a BA in politics as well as a background in audio-visual and artistic production.
